A large-scale cold storage project delivered by HeShun in Manila, Philippines, with a total storage capacity of over 10,000 tons. The facility includes low-temperature storage rooms, blast freezers, fresh-keeping rooms, a low-temperature loading dock, and sorting areas.
With multiple temperature zones and different operating requirements, the project required careful planning of the refrigeration system, temperature control, installation, and commissioning. HeShun developed the refrigeration and control systems according to the specific requirements of each area, helping maintain stable temperatures and reliable operation throughout the facility.

Smart Temperature Control & Refrigeration Management
The PLC control system automatically adjusts the number of operating refrigeration units according to the current cooling demand, while standby capacity is maintained to support reliable operation during peak loads or equipment maintenance.
Storage temperatures, equipment status, and system faults can be monitored in real time. Automatic temperature control and defrosting help maintain stable operating conditions while reducing the need for manual intervention.
A remote alarm system is also integrated into the project. In the event of abnormal temperatures, compressor overheating, power failure, or prolonged door opening, the system provides audible and visual alarms and sends SMS notifications.
Overseas Cold Storage Project Delivery
The project covered multi-temperature storage, blast freezing, centralized control, and remote monitoring, with HeShun involved from refrigeration system design and equipment supply through on-site installation, commissioning, and final handover.
The Manila project further strengthened HeShun‘s experience in delivering large-scale, multi-temperature cold storage facilities overseas, combining refrigeration engineering, intelligent control, and integrated project execution.
