Batangas GSI Central Kitchen Cold Storage Project

Project Overview

This project equips the GSI central kitchen with a 40-foot containerized mobile low-temperature cold storage unit (-18°C to -22°C) and a pre-cooling room (10°C to 15°C), addressing the central kitchen’s dual needs for low-temperature raw material storage and rapid pre-cooling processing. The solution balances mobility with refrigeration stability.

Technical Solution

• Refrigeration units: German BITZER piston compressor racks, paired with air coolers;
• Control system: Schneider Electric components and HMI, centralized control, 24-hour equipment status monitoring;
• Efficiency & durability optimization: enlarged condenser heat-exchange surface area on compressor units, with epoxy anti-corrosion treatment on condenser fins to improve refrigeration efficiency while reducing salt-spray corrosion and extending equipment lifespan;
• Safety protection: additional overheat and undervoltage protection modules for stable system operation;
• Temperature control system: automatic temperature control and defrosting, with real-time monitoring of equipment status, chamber temperature, alarms, and fault diagnostics.
