Why Choose HeShun Cold Storage Panels

  • Three-layer sandwich, foamed in one shot — stronger than layered construction.
  • PU core: ≥95% closed-cell, thermal conductivity down to 0.018 W/m·K.
  • Optional B1/B2 fire rating. Fire inspection passes without trouble.
  • Eccentric hook or tongue-and-groove joints. Goes together fast, seals tight.
  • Custom sizes, thicknesses, and cutouts — just send us the drawing.
  • Standard lead time: 7 to 15 days. We stick to it.

Your Reliable Cold Storage Panels Supplier In China

Walk into most suppliers, and you’ll get one brand’s catalog, take it or leave it. We work differently. Instead of pushing a single product line, we look at your cold room size, target temperature, and hygiene requirements, then match you with the right cold storage panels — thickness, facing material, everything. The result: better cold storage panels for your project, without overpaying for features you don’t need.

Cold Storage Panels Series

PU Sandwich Panel
PU Sandwich Panel

double-sided color steel, B1/B2, eccentric cam-lock or tongue-and-groove. Good for fresh-keeping rooms, freezers, and general cold storage.

PIR Panel
PIR Panel

B1-rated, self-extinguishing, thermal conductivity ≤ 0.022. Picks up where PU falls short on fire safety. Commonly used in blast freezers and pharma cold rooms.

XPS Extruded Polystyrene Board
XPS Extruded Polystyrene Board

High compressive strength, closed-cell, water absorption ≤ 1%, standard 50–150mm thickness. Mostly used under floors or as a secondary wall insulation layer.

How thick should my cold storage panels be?

Depends on what temperature you’re running.

  • Keeping it around 0°C to 8°C? 75mm to 100mm cold storage panels. Good for fruits, veggies, that kind of stuff.
  • Going down to –18°C or- 25 °C for a freezer? You’ll want 100mm to 150mm.
  • Blast freezing at –35°C to- 45 °C? Then 150mm to 200mm is where you need to be.

That’s the general idea anyway. The bigger your room, the thicker you might need to go. Local weather matters too. Tell me your numbers, and I’ll tell you exactly what cold storage panel thickness fits.

Machine-made vs handmade cold storage panels — what's the difference?

Machine- made cold storage panels come off a production line. Every single panel is the same-same foam density, same dimensions, no surprises. And they cost less. If you’re putting up a standard cold room and you need a lot of panels, this is the smart pick.
Handmade cold storage panels are made in batches. That means they’re denser and tougher. You can also get stainless steel facings, custom holes, special shapes — whatever you need. That’s why you see them in pharma cold rooms and food processing plants, places that need to be spotless.
So here’s the quick take: machine-made for standard jobs and better pricing. Handmade when you need something more specific.

What about XPS boards — can they do the same job as PU cold storage panels for walls?

No — different tools, different jobs.
PU cold storage panels are sandwich boards. The foam and the metal skins are fused together into one piece. You click them together, and you’ve got a wall that does both jobs — insulates and holds itself up.

XPS is just a foam board. It keeps the cold out fine, but it can’t hold any weight. So you put it under the floor, not up on the wall.

Bottom line: for walls, go with PU or PIR cold storage panels. XPS? Keep it on the ground.
